Hey everyone!
It’s been a while… but I thought I’d write a quick post about something that got me sooooo excited.
I tried SoulCycle for the very first time after being invited by my friend Matt for almost a year now. But that wasn’t what I was actually excited about.
Silverlake Ramen has opened in Santa Monica! It was always one of my favorite ramen joints for a while. But as a Westsider, driving out to Silverlake is a pain in the ass during dinner time. Now they have a branch on 3rd St. Promenade, which is just around the corner from SoulCycle.
Before I stopped eating meat, I honestly enjoyed Silverlake Ramen’s pork broth with it’s consistency and amazing toppings. BUT they also have one of the best vegan ramens I’ve ever had.
The broth was very rich and full of flavor. And the combination of toppings (lettuce, tofu, mushrooms, eggplant, asparagus, corn) just go well together with the broth to make it a very healthy bowl of ramen. And the noodles are nice and chewy.
I highly recommend Silverlake Ramen if you want your cravings satisfied. It’s also at a great location in Santa Monica with super hip decor and vibe inside.
Thanks for reading!

P.S. My legs were KILLING me the rest of the week after SoulCycle. But it was fun! 😛
